Privacy Policy
Your moments are yours. Playhead records and keeps tapes locally on your iPhone until you choose to export them.
Information You Create
Tape names and recordings are created by you inside the app. Tape names help you recognize memories such as a trip, event, visit, or chapter.
Your local tapes and video files are stored on your iPhone unless you choose to save a finished tape to Photos.
Camera, Microphone, And Photos
Playhead asks for camera and microphone access so you can record moments onto a tape.
Photos access is used when you choose to save a finished tape to your Photos library. Playhead does not need Photos access just to record a tape.
Basic App Activity And Diagnostics
Playhead collects basic app activity and diagnostic information to understand whether the app is working properly and where people run into issues.
This may include events such as starting a tape, recording a moment, previewing a tape, saving to Photos, or seeing a deletion prompt. Crash and performance information may also be collected when the app has a problem.
- This information does not include your recordings or tape names.
- It does not include file paths, export file names, thumbnails, location, raw timestamps, user IDs, or media details.
Local Storage
Tapes are stored locally on your device. Deleting a local tape removes its local metadata and video files from the iPhone.
If you save a tape to Photos, that saved copy is separate from the local tape kept inside Playhead.
